Join us for our 2026 APHG Exam Prep Webinar!
The American Geographical Society has brought together various APHG experts, including Chief Reader of the Exam Dr. Lisa Benton-Short, to share their review week best practices. Some topics on our agenda include task verbs, multiple choice and free response questions, and other review tactics. Join us on Wednesday April 8th at 6:00 PM EST to help set your students up for a successful exam season!
Through years of programming, AGS has built up an extensive library of videos, all available on the AGS YouTube channel, to support classroom curriculum and APHG teacher development.
Videos that support in-class learning include recordings of every session from our annual Fall Symposium, Geography 2050, featuring leading thinkers and practitioners in geography and geospatial science from the corporate world, government, non-governmental and humanitarian organizations, and academia. There are also special lectures, presentations, and interviews on a variety of topics related to geospatial learning.
For teachers, every spring AGS offers a live webinar where we welcome experienced APHG teachers to offer their tips and strategies to help their students prepare in the final weeks before the exam. The YouTube channel also includes recordings of past webinars offered early in the school year to help teachers new to APHG familiarize themselves with the College Board's Course and Exam Description.
