Research Interests:
Dr. Francisco de Souza is a Professor of Geography at the Itapuranga University Unit of the State University of Goiás (UEG). She is the coordinator of the Nucleus of African and Afrodiasporic Studies (NEAAD) at UEG, and the Editorial chief of UEG’s Temporis (Action) Magazine. She is a member of the Ibero-Latin American Geography, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Network (REGGSILA) and the Center for Studies and Research in Geographic Education (NEPEG/UFG). She is also a collaborating researcher at the Laboratory of Ethnic-Racial, Gender, and Spatial Studies (LaGENTE/UFG). Dr. Francisco de Souza holds a PhD in Human Geography from the University of São Paulo, and a Master’s and bachelor’s degree in Geography from the Federal University of Goiás. She is also a collaborator of the Graduate Program in Geography at the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG).
