Katie Zezima

Ms. Zezima has sixteen years of professional experience in geospatial analytics supporting data driven decisions at the Federal level. She co-founded the Imagery to the Crowd initiative (predecessor to Mapgive) at the U.S. Department of State. She has a extensive leadership experience leading teams focused on IT solutions, strategy, policy, and governance for several Federal agencies including FEMA, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the U.S. Department of State, and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Ms. Zezima managed the acquisition and implementation of over $120 million in contracts for Hurricane Ian, and led Federal geospatial response efforts after national level events such as 2013 Colorado floods, 2011 Tornado Super Outbreak in Alabama and Hurricanes Sandy, Isaac and Irene.
